This is what I offer:

Close-up of an elephant's legs and trunk in the foreground with two tourists and a guide in a safari vehicle in the background, on an open plain.
Ranger Kirsten in the Bush Singita

Where it began…

Watercolor painting of two zebras, one with a mane and the other with a short mane, against a plain white background.

I was born in South Africa and although I grew up in England, SA has always been a part of my soul. Having an innate compassion and curiosity for the natural world, the bush [savanna] is where I feel at peace the most.

Ranger Kirsten drawing animals in a sketchbook while sitting in a safari vehicle, with a herd of buffalo grazing in the grasslands behind her.
A group of five people sitting in an open safari vehicle with the name "Singita" on the side, surrounded by lush greenery and trees, with a leopard resting on a large, twisting tree branch overhead.

During my 5 years as a safari ranger, I learnt how to interpret animal behaviour, track paw prints and walk [safely] in the wild.

In the UK, I now work as an artist and wildlife ambassador, teaching the sensitive details of the natural world through art and creativity.

Artwork of an African elephant with labeled features, informational text about elephant tracks and fingerprints, and two plastic bags containing leaf and bark samples.
